Machine Head – Take My Scars

“Take My Scars” is a single by American heavy metal band Machine Head. There are two different versions of the single. The title track is taken from the 1997 album The More Things Change…. The song was featured in the film Faust: Love of the Damned. It is the sixth track featured on the band’s live album Hellalive.

The More Things Change… is the second album by Machine Head. The album is the last release featuring the original lead guitarist Logan Mader and the first album to feature current drummer Dave McClain.

The album title alludes to the first part of the phrase: “The more things change, the more they stay the same”. In the song “Struck a Nerve”, the same phrase is mentioned during the chorus.
